Bol Bachchan is a 2012 Bollywood action comedy film directed by Rohit Shetty, and featuring Ajay Devgn, Abhishek Bachchan, Asin, and Prachi Desai in lead roles. The film, made on a massive budget of 70 crore (US$13.97 million), is an official remake of the popular 1979 film Gol Maal. Fox Star Studios bought the worldwide theatrical rights of the film for 94 crore (US$18.75 million).Bol Bachchan's official trailer was released on 24 May 2012 and the film was released on 6 July 2012 in around 2575 screens worldwide. It received mixed critical acclaim but had a good opening at the box officeThe film supposedly created a record for its advance bookings.
